Noggin Voice Search
Built as means to experiment with voice recognition technology, Noggin Voice Search evaluated the potential of utilizing voice search functionality in kids' apps, such as Noggin.
Simple in function, the prototype listens to requests for TV shows or movies on the Noggin app, and links to matching content. For instance, if a kid says the words "Paw Patrol," the app drives them to that title.
My role:
-
Designed the prototype's UX/UI.
-
Collaborated with external developers to bring my designs to life, creating a final prototype.
-
Using the finished prototype, conducted user testing with kids ages 2-6 to evaluate the potential behind a voice search feature for Noggin.

Prototype In Action
To ensure the development of the prototype went smoothly, I created animated mockups showcasing the functionality of the product. These animations were one to one depictions of exactly what my team wanted the final prototype to be like.
To the right, watch a full walkthrough of the prototype's features, as well as an error state that occurs when the app can't find a title match. Hover over the images to play.
